Meow and Furever

Foster Process

Before starting our foster process, please ensure everyone in the household agrees with fostering a cat.

To advance your foster application, we require the following information:

>Name:

>Address:

>Contact number:

>Email Address:

>No. Hours worked (or away from home):

>Age of Children:

>Current Pets:

>Spare room available:

>Brief cat experience:

>A video of your home

Physical home visits can be arranged however, as we are volunteer led, we find a video helps streamline the process.

Please note, foster cats need to remain inside at all times.

-----

When we have checked your application one of the team will call you to run through things in a little more detail. A fostering agreement will be sent by email for you to sign.

The exciting part can then happen and kitties in need will hopefully be placed with you.

Where possible, we will always try our best to provide you with all food and litter for the cats placed in your care. As we are a not for profit organisation, we rely heavily on the generosity of our supporters. Occasionally, you may need to supplement food and litter etc. yourself but should this situation arise you will be able to claim reimbursement.

Should the cat(s) that you are fostering become poorly we have nominated vets that we use, and it's important that only these vets are used, should the need arise.

Finally, we have a discussion group on messenger for our team to chat, raise ideas/concerns and be suported. We would encourage you to join the discussion group for ease of communication.

I hope this covers everything and we look forward to you joining our team.

Thank you.
