Adoption Process
Before starting our adoption process, please ensure everyone in the household agrees with adopting a cat.
We ideally home kittens in bonded pairs, however, if there is a young resident cat we may home a solo kitten. We will assess each case individually. Older cats may be rehomed individually or as a bonded pair.
To advance with an adoption, we require the following information:

>A video of your home & garden
Physical home visits can be arranged however, as we are volunteer led, we find a video helps streamline the process.
When we have checked your application, you will then be able to visit your chosen cat. After the viewing appointment, if you feel you have found your purrfect new family member/s we will ring you to finalise all adoption admin.
Our adoption fee is £110 per cat/kitten. Included in the adoption fee:
* All cats are treated for Fleas/Worms.
* Each cat comes with 5 weeks complimentary insurance thanks to our partnership with Agria.
* You will receive a voucher to claim two 400g bags of Royal Canin food, free of charge.
Cats over 16 weeks of age will have been fully assessed, neutered and microchipped. Cats under 16 weeks of age will come with a contract to be neutered and microchipped at our vets The most convenient vet location will be discussed with you.
All adopted cats or kittens will be brought to your home by a Meow and Furever volunteer, unless otherwise agreed.
